Hutchinson Art Show

Deb,or Beadsandblooms attended the 51st Hutchinson Kansas Art Show this last Saturday.This her second art show she has done. Their were alot of different art exhibits,paintings,metal sculptures,wood workings,etc. It was held in the Sunflower building at the fair ground,so wind or bad weather was not a problem. She had a good crowd and had a ok show.I will add a picture of her booth.

Tulip Festival 2013

Deb or BeadsandBlooms did the tulip festival at Wamego Kansas this weekend.It was her first craft show that she had her own canopy,she usually was in one of the big circus type tents. It was a two day show,saturday and sunday. Saturday started out cold with lows in the 30's.It did warm up in the afternoon and we could take our coats and gloves off. There was a nice crowd, with most vendors selling well. The winds howled all nite and all she could think about was if her canopy was still standing, and if any other tents had blown into her's, because some of the new crafters didnt know you needed to put weights on your tent.Sunday morning she got a call from a friend that had gotten to the show earlier to check on her tent, she had said that Deb's tent had other tents blown into it and had done some damage.She had just driven up to the show and hurried to check her damage. She had a couple of displays damaged, but canopy was ok. The organizers of the show came up and said the big circus tents were not safe and were closing the show down. So she didnt get to see if she was going to have a good sunday show or not.
